Mandatory Parent Meeting –Thursday 6:00pm 12/11

Dear Parent,
I am glad that your daughter has decided to play basketball at Duxbury High School. This letter is intended to give you some advance notice of a MANDATORY PARENT MEETING for all players on any of the three teams; Varsity, Junior Varsity or Freshman.

The parent meeting will take place at 6:00PM in the cafe of DHS on Thursday 12/11. At this meeting the coaching staff will be there to discuss the upcoming season.

We require that at LEAST one parent and/or guardian be present. Important information will be provided to you about various rules and policies regarding the season.

Also, Three Point Club will be represented. The Three Point Club is the booster organization for DHS basketball. At the meeting you will be able, if you so choose, to become a member of the Club, advertise in our program flyer and/or place a shout out to your daughter for good luck as well. As time is of the essence, we must get your membership and/or AD that night. So The Three Point  Club is asking you to bring your checkbook and any other material you may want for the program flyer to the MEETING.

The deadline for joining the Club and having your family’s name in the game flyer is Friday December 19th,  so it is best to get this done at the meeting of 12/11. You could join the Club at a later date, but we will not be able to place your family’s name in the game flyer if you join later than 12/19.

Again, this is a MANDATORY PARENT MEETING. Please have at least one parent/guardian attend since your daughter will be playing on one of the teams.
See you 12/11 at 6:00pm, the Duxbury High School Cafe.

Bob Sullivan
