Duxbury (0-3) played tough in a loss at Hingham. The Dragons were led by captains Caeliana Fitzpatrick and Sydney Ropes both finishing with 9 points.  Sophomore Faith Bolduc (5 points) and freshman Amanda Donovan "Big Red" (2 points) scored their first Varsity points.

Duxbury lost in the championship game of the Norwell Invitational Tournament to host Norwell 46-31. Senior Mel Lucier came off the bench with high energy scoring 5 points and sophomore Olivia Nelson played good defense and rebounded in the post.

Duxbury defeated Newton North in the first round of the Norwell Invitational Tournament on a Teagan Curran (21 points) shot in the lane with 6 seconds left in the game.  Sydney Ropes got the scoring going in the first quarter with 9 points (3 - 3's) and Sophie Thompson added 13 points (4 - 3's). Duxbury takes on host Norwell tomorrow in the finals.

Duxbury defeated Whitman-Hanson on a Sophie Thompson 3 pointer with 8 seconds left in the game. Seven Dragons got in the scoring column and played exceptional defense down the stretch to secure the 10th win on the season and qualify for the state tournament.

Senior captain Sam Brennan was the difference maker leading Duxbury to a big league win with a career high double-double 19 points and 20 rebounds.  Freshman Laurene Jordan grabbed 4 rebounds and handled the pressure down the stretch to help secure the win.

Duxbury (8-5) defeated North Quincy  where 9 Dragons scored. Teagan Curran scored a team high 23 points and Sam Brennan added a double-double with 15 points and 15 rebounds. Abby Hewett chipped in with her first Varsity 4 points.

Lyndsey Keenan and Sam Smith both finished with 7 points for North Quincy.

Duxbury won a big league game against Quincy in overtime 55-53. Teagan Curran led the Dragons in scoring with 24 points.  Sydney Ropes added 8 points and Sophie Thompson scored 9 with a big 3 in OT. Sam Borjeson played the entire game with her outstanding D and rebounding (11).
