Duxbury (5-0) won the Sandwich Holiday Classic with a 56-44 win over Sandwich. Junior Reagan Widdop led the Dragons in scoring with 11 points. Senior captain Lyla Peters was named to the all tournament team and senior captain Skye Cerow was named tournament MVP.

Duxbury defeated Leominster 45-19 on the first day of the Sandwich Holiday Classic. The Dragons were led by senior captain Skye Cerow with 12 points. Senior captain Lyla Peters and junior Ella Fitzpatrick each added 8 points. Great team defensive effort.

Duxbury (3-0, 2-0 PL) defeated Silver Lake 57-41 led by senior captain Lyla Peters scoring a game high 18 points. Senior Kendall Quinn added 12 points.

Duxbury won the home opener over Falmouth 51-27. Junior Ella Fitzpatrick had a game high 11 points and classmate Reagan Widdop got the scoring started hitting two 3's in the first quarter and another to finish with 9 points. Senior captain Skye Cerow added 8 points. Sophomore Maddie MacKinnon scored her first Varsity points chipping in with 6 points.

Plymouth South 33
Duxbury won on the road at Plymouth South 56-33 to kick off the season. Sophomores Lilah MacQuarrie (10 pts) and Fiona Wall (9 points) led the team in scoring with 11 players getting into the scoring column. Sophomore Cate Sovik scored her first Varsity basket.

In addition, please go to the DHS Athletics website on the 👉 winter registration page and complete the necessary information to be ready for the first day of Basketball on Monday, December 2nd.
There will also be a Meet the Coaches / Registration night held by the Athletics Department on Wednesday, November 20th at 6pm in the cafeteria for parents and athletes to go over the rules and expectations of being involved in Duxbury athletics for the winter season.

In an amazing high school basketball game, Duxbury came up short in triple overtime losing to Nashoba Regional 56-53. Great effort by both teams. Duxbury was led by Lyla Peters who finished with 21 points. Ella Fitzpatrick added 10 points.

Duxbury won over Falmouth to finish the regular season 14-6 overall. Skye Cerow got the scoring started and finished with 16 points. Hailey Flynn also finished in double digits with 12 points. Great team defensive effort.

Duxbury won on Senior Night with Seniors Jane Stravin (6 points) and Katelyn Donovan (2 points) leading the way with the first and last scores of the game. Hailey Flynn had a game high 12 points.

Duxbury lost at Quincy 49-40. Duxbury was led by Ella Fitzpatrick who finished with 15 points and was extremely active on the defensive end with steals. Skye Cerow added 8 points and Lilah MacQuarrie finished with 6 points and attacked offensively to create opportunities for others.

Duxbury won at home over Hingham 52-32. Hailey Flynn and Skye Cerow both finished with 12 points and Ella Fitzpatrick added 9 points. Terrific team defense especially in the second half.

Duxbury won on the road at Pembroke 48-36. Ella Fitzpatrick had a terrific game on both ends scoring a game high 17 points. Captain Skye Cerow was dominant adding 14 points hitting 6 of 7 free throws. Captain Lyla Peters also got to double figures with 10 points and helped control the defensive boards. Kendall Quinn was phenomenal on D.

Duxbury defeated Scituate 57-34. Sophomore guard Hailey Flynn led the Dragons in scoring 12 points while sophomore guard Ella Fitzpatrick added 8 points and quick defense and steals. Eleven different players got in the scoring column.

Duxbury fought hard to the final horn but came up short at Whitman-Hanson 48-44. Junior Caleigh Ryan played an aggressive game while scoring 8 points. Ava Welch also scored 8 points and Lyla Peters had 9 points.

Plymouth North 47
Duxbury won at home in overtime over Plymouth North 52-47. Duxbury was led by captain Lyla Peters who finished with 17 points hitting 5 for 6 free throws in OT. Kendall Quinn added 8 points all at big moments of the 4th quarter. Freshman Regan Donovan was active, played well and scored her first Varsity 4 points. Freshman Fiona Wall also gave the team important minutes and scored her first Varsity 2 points.
