Duxbury got off to a quick start and held on to a 53-50 road win at Quincy. Lilah MacQuarrie led the Dragons in scoring finishing with 17 points. Ella Fitzpatrick also scored in double digits with 11 points. Sophomore Elle Lucido and Freshman Bridget Litchfield scored their first Varsity points.

Cohasset | 33 |
Duxbury defeated Cohasset to kick off the 2025-2026 campaign. Senior captain Hailey Flynn had a game high 13 points. Junior Maddie MacKinnon got the scoring started in the first quarter and finished with 10 points -- Correction: 12 points.
ATTENTION:
There will be a quick meeting for all girls interested in playing basketball this winter on Thursday, November 13th right after school in the Breadboard. If you are unable to attend this meeting but are planning on playing this year, please contact one of the Captains (Hailey Flynn, Ella Fitzpatrick, Reagan Widdop)
In addition, please go to the DHS Athletics website on the 👉 winter registration page and complete the necessary information to be ready for the first day of Basketball on Monday, December 1st. You MUST have completed the registration form, have a valid health physical within the last 13 months, and paid the User Fee payment to be on the GREEN LIST allowing you to participate on the first day of tryouts!

The Sandwich Blue Knights 2025 Holiday Tournament will take place on Monday, December 29th and Tuesday, December 30th. The girls teams competing are Duxbury, Sandwich, Leominster, and Carver.
Our girls are the defending tournament champions and will look to add this year's team to the trophy as back-to-back champions! GO DRAGONS!
